Tag for homemade goodies

I made this for the challenge at Whimsical Wednesday,
the challenge was to make a tag with bling.  I give out
home made jam every year and have thought for a
while that I would like to add something to make it
more personal, but I wasn't sure what to do with it.
So this was a fun challenge for me.  The tag is cut from
the Plantin School Book Cartridge at 3" I cut it twice,
once in cranberry and the second time in a plaid from the
Natural Stack from DCVW.  The hearts are also from
Plantin School Book, but they are stretched around on
my Design Studio so I'm not sure what size they started
out.  I used hemp twine and sticky blingy things
(it turns out you can need an i-rock).

My friend Missy

My friend Missy came over today and made a card for her mom and a 12X12 wall hanging for her husband.  She had never used a cricut before, and I think they turned out fabulous.  The card was made using the Linen Stack, the words were cut from the Base Camp cartridge.  The tractor was cut from the Heritage cartridge, and the words came from the Base Camp cartridge.

My daughters first project

My 9 year old liked the blocks that we made for our living room so much that she decided to make some for her bedroom.  She chose all of her own colors and papers, and even sanded the blocks herself.  The backgrounds are all from the Glam Gal stack, the font we used from the Base Camp Cartridge and her letters are cut out on aqua glitter paper.

Tri-fold Card

I made this as a birthday card for my friend Melanie, it looked super cute until my 2 year old sprayed it with windex... I just got my Forever Young cartridge and I have been waiting to try it out, I haven't really had time yet, but thats where the flower came from I think I cut it at 2".  All of the paper is from my Natural Stack and I inked the edged of everything with dark brown then I stitched around the edges with my cranberry gel pen, and I was good to go.  I liked how it turned out (minus the windex)

I tend to get stressed a little too easily, so this is my reminder to keep smiling, it is in HUGE letters on my bedroom wall, DH thinks that maybe I've finally lost it, but I love it.  Every time I wake up in the morning I remember to smile!

Blocks

I made these blocks with my sister, we used scrap lumber from my friends back yard.  It was my first home decor project, and I had tons of fun!
