A day at the park

This LO is of my mother and my grandmother feeding geese at a park in California, they were on vacation, the last one that they ever took together actually.  This is the last picture that they had taken just the 2 of them,  I think that it is a beautiful memory to have, and it will be part of the book that I am making for my mother, of her mothers life.

I am entering this LO into the "label it" challenge at Fantabulous Cricut,  and also into the challenge at Little Red Wagon, the challenge was to use 2 different ribbons.
Recipe:
Cartridges used: Accent Essentials, Pooh Font Set
Paper: Making Memories
Ribbons and Cherish sticker: Making Memories
Label/Tag: Basic Grey chipboard

Wedding LO

This LO is of my Grandmother on her wedding day, she passed away before I was born but I grew up hearing wonderful stories abut her.  This year I will turn 37, which is the same age as she was when she died, so I have decided to make a scrapbook in her memory to give to my own mother.  The sketch that I used is for a challenge over at More Than Favors, The paper is from the DCWV Tradewinds stack, I used Accent Essentials cartridge, the sentiment stamp is by stampabilities, and the journaling stamp is Basic Grey.

A Love Story part 7 and 8

This is page 7 of my hubby's mini-book, the photo border is from Mini Monograms, I glued sequins to make it sparkle and stitched the edge of the inside border in white. The sentiment came from a set of stickers that I had laying around, and it is set on an outline that I got from my Forever Young cartridge.  For the journaling I printed the outline of the words and colored them with my gel pens.  I added some hearts that I cut from my scraps using my fiskars heart punch.  The house came from the Handy Man cartridge cut at 10 1/4"
Page 8, the tools all came from the Handy Man cartridge, all cut at 3" and the frames for the journaling are from Accent Essentials.  This page was a challenge for me, so I kept it pretty basic.
